1. Kapa Haka is fun and if you like to sing and dance this is right for you
2. You can learn new maori words
3. You can practice singing and dancing.
You should do Kapa Haka because you can learn more skills and be confident with singing and dancing.

Leighton house
Leighton house
I was so excited to see Leighton house. Loudly our whole class walked into Leighton house. I wondered who the oldest person would be. The oldest person who I saw was 99. Her name was Konny. We played chinese checkers with a lady. She won. I wondered if Konny would stay alive to make her 100th birthday. I liked Konny. The best person who I meet was Konny. She was probably the kindest. I meet a lady called Dolly and she was deaf. She came from a different country. It was sadly time to go. But before we went we sang our school song. I think the old people enjoyed having us visit and I enjoyed visiting them too.

Te Tapu o Rongokako
The Marine Reserve
It's freezing how are they already in the water. I screamed, "Ahhh it's scary Veronica." "Here hold my hand." She replied. It's freezing but i'm in. Wow there's a kina and a Paua broken paua actually. Here are three reasons why we should have marine reserves.
1. Have you thought about how many fish are left. We should take as many fish as we need, Unfortunately not many people are doing that. That's why we need marine reserves.
2 How would you like it if you were swimming in the sea and got fished up by a hook? That's right, you wouldn't. So with marine reserves they can't get fished up.
3. Marine reserves are so pretty and great for snorkeling in. We went to Te Tapuwae o Rongokako marine reserve. I saw colorful paua, spikey kina and neptune's necklace.
I hope you walk away trying to save the ocean and vote for more marine reserves.
